Best in Show was Jane Phillipson's Silver sow 'Honeysuckle'

Simon Neesam's boar was best Lemon and runner-up BIS. He was also BIS at Egton Agricultural Show later in the year.

Best Golden: Olive Atkinson's boar.

Best Cinnamon - Tartuffe Stud's boar.

Best Silver adult, and winner of the Vic Bailey memorial cup, was Malcolm Atkinson's sow.

The club stand contained a great deal of useful information on cavy-keeping and exhibiting in general...

...and on Agoutis in particular.

Whilst the NACC AGM was taking place at Wyevern, news came through that one of our Junior members, Hannah Salisbury of CAC Cavies had won her first Best in Show - with her Silver Agouti Boar 'Rowan'. Well done, Hannah!

Best In Show was Pete Holdaway's 5-8 Silver sow, 'Rapture'.

Best Adult, and Best Non-Self in the Yorkshire classes, was Cherrone Stud's Adult Golden boar.

Best In Show, any age, was Di-l-emma Stud's Cinnamon boar.

Steve Davies' Golden sow was best u/5 Non-self. Agoutis were also runners-up best adult and best 5-8 Non-self. A very consistent performance from the breed in the face of strong competition at one of the most prestigious shows of the year. (photo: Tony O'Neill)

Allan Trigg judged Best in Show at this 40th anniversary show. This is the BIS line-up with Simon Neesam's Lemon boar 'Yeats' runner-up behind Nikki Matthews' Alpaca.
